Local councils provide a variety
of city planning services to citizens and businesses and need
to liaise with several other government organizations in the
process. These services range from building plan approvals
to land subdivision and amalgamation to issuing of various
permits and certificates of conformity plus a host of other
services. Central to providing these services is a massive
record room typically containing plans, deeds and other documents
going back well over a hundred years. Overcrowding of cities
has resulted in the Councils’ inability to provide these
services in a timely and efficient manner. Affno’s product
is based on the City Planning Services provided by a typical
Council in a Commonwealth Country. Affno’s system provides
