This is an on-line
learning environment building engine. It enables administration,
faculty and students to carry out enterprise-wide education
on-line.
Administrative environment enables the creation of curricular
and time tables and integrates with human resource information
systems.
Faculty environment enables definition of learning/teaching
methods; course creation, publishing and evaluation; examination
creation, conducting and marking; maintaining student records;
student counseling; e-diary for one-to-one student-teacher
interactions; tracking and managing teaching/learning process
efficiency.
Student environment enables the selection of courses and subjects,
access to course material, mock examinations and final examinations.
Also enables student interaction through discussion forums,
virtual group assignments and group projects. Students would
be able to track their progress over time as well as vis-à-vis
benchmarks / personal objectives. |
