Key Responsibilities

	Proactive involvement in design and development of Affno’s products and technologies.
	Specification and planning of new product modules and features.
	Translate clients' complex business requirements into innovative solutions.
	Coding and performance of developer module testing and performance of integrated bundle testing.
	Writing developer level documentation and assisting technical writers to create customer facing documentation.
	Tracking industry developments and standards and implementing these into the company's technologies.

Experience & Qualifications

	B. Sc Computer Science or related discipline.
	4 years software development experience.
	2 or more years solid experience with Java.
	Experience with WebSphere, Weblogic and Oracle a strong plus.
	Proven experience in Web Application Development using in J2EE, JSP and Servlets implemented using STRUTS, Hibernate for Object-Relational Mapping (ORM), Apache AXIS which implements the Service Oriented Architecture, Spring, Tapestry, AJAX and other programming competencies.
	Experience in Web scripting (perl, DHTML, HTML, Java and VB scripting).
	Experience in Database Provisioning (mySQL, LDAP, SQL Server, Oracle).
	Knowledgeable OOP.
	Experience in Widnows, Linux/Unix Environments.
	Experience in Apache and IIS Web Server Configurations.
	Experience XML and Session Management.
	High problem analysis and problem solving skills.
	Good communication skills.

	We expect you to have strong communication skills, be creative and innovative, and must be a team player with keen interest on mentoring juniors.
	Should ideally have travelled overseas on work.
	Be able to travel overseas at short notice and be willing to work overseas for extended periods ranging from 3 months to a year.
	Excellent problem solving skills.
